Landmark Building in Brentwood Sold by MJM

A landmark building in Brentwood’s High Street, situated at no. 75 and originally built for Barclays in the 1970’s as a bank and offices was offered to the market for sale last autumn. Barclays closed the branch in May 2024, but partially occupy until their lease ends in 2026.

MJM acted for the former landlord in the disposal of the freehold of the property which, as anticipated, quickly attracted a lot of interest. With numerous interested parties bidding the building sold to Amber Construction who completed on the purchase just before Christmas.
